ABSTRACT
This study was carried out on the effects of some weather elements on the occurrence of Malaria, Typhoid And Tuberculosis using Onitsha North Lga, Anambra State, Nigeria as case study. To carry out the study, three research questions were posed. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The population of the study comprised of all the staffs of Onitsha General Hospital. The population size of the study was 52. The instrument for data collection in this study was structured questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using frequency Table. While the hypothesis were tested using Pearson Correlation statistical tool. The major findings of the study disclosed that; the rate of rainfall and temperature in the study area is practically high this therefore emanates the high rage of malaria, typhoid and tuberculosis occurrence, hence gain widespread and then becomes rampant.
Based on the findings; the research recommended that all the three tiers of government should come up with enlightenment programs which should be conducted to educate people on the effect of climate change on the occurrence of diseases; to also provide safe and adequate drinking water for the masses; and provide free mosquito nets for the residents of the area. The people on the other hand should improve on their sanitation in their environment
